Disney World Getaways to the Sun

Ask some kids (and grown ups) about where they would love to fly to on holiday rather than anywhere in the world, and I’ll say that the winning reply will consistently be the same – Disney World in the United States. No matter if you’re asking an infant or your grandad, the destination and it’s flagship Magic Kingdom have been a keen choice for many years. The Walt Disney mystery that we’ve all seen on the TV in our youth and beyond has its unique own location in the South East corner of the United States, and you can bet that’s one of the only nine hour journeys children can not object to!
Sadly, the price of travel to America is obstructive for a lot of parents – a return flight to Florida airports might run into a few thousand pounds for a a normal family, so break time playground talk regarding the annual trip to Orange County might be faced with awe and daydreaming.
The overnight options are vast in the American temperatures, choose from cheap and cheerful fly-drive options where you may order vouchers to pay as you stay in holiday inn like accomodation, ranging all the way up to the state of the art plethora of accomodation within the Disney Complex, which can be priced as much, if not more than your flights.
There is of course a valid debate that this is an experience of a life – so it is worth giving very real thought as to whether to pay more and get the complete Disney World package. Whilst the cost of living is not as low out there as it once was, it is still extremely low compared to UK equivelants. Commonly British visitors will dine out every evening – the fast food outlets are literally on every corner in Florida – and on certain streets, every few meters.
It’s definitely obvious to comment that most mums and dads would do anything to be given a chance to take their kids to Disney – it’s a sort of travel activity of passage with it’s iconic Rock’n'Roller Coaster ride, so if the only thing thats stopping you from taking your family there is cold hard cash, then perhaps it’s time to try something else and you will be lucky on a getaway prize draw – there’s a mountain out there!
